But, since there did not seem to be enough interest, so I asked that the request be closed.
Good news. According to Johnny Hughes, he is planning to turn the ATALK support on in the next release of centosplus kernels.
Of course Johnny keeps his promise and we will soon have a shining new 2.6.18-8.1.8.el5.centos.plus kernel with appletalk.ko very soon (i heard it is being built now).
