The GPL requires that anyone who receives sources has the right to redistribute them freely, although Red Hat seems to think they can restrict this right if they do it by tying the restriction to the support contract.
It is a matter of opinion as to whether Red Hat's exercise of their right to terminate a subscription constitutes a 'restriction' on the right to redistribute source.
If an unpleasant consequence for doing something included in a contract isn't a restriction, what would a restriction? Does it have to include death threats to make it real?
