While I agree with the practical aspects of centralizing everything, I don't see how you can use an argument against 'silos' to justify keeping everything in yours. There's no reason at this point to assume that any alternatives would be less open.
you are quoting me out of context and talking about alternatives as being complete alternatives. Both of those just sound like convenient assumptions to make a wrong point.
