Anyway can elrepo supply also as early boot driver disk images please? As if it gets disabled then I won’t be able to install let alone boot.

That's not a big issue - elrepo.org have kmod packaged drivers to support the megaraid storage controller for RHEL at their repository and can release drives to support this hardware on RHEL 10 if Red Hat choose to end support. As you have identified, CPU support is the main issue here.
Personally, I'm in favour of a move to x86_64-v3, but I understand why others may not be.

The rise to x86_64-v2 was painful enough, but -v3 would be quite a problem for me and result in throwing away even more hardware, which is not exactly a very environmentally friendly thing to do...
