If i understand it as it is, the channel is already created. But the

guy, whois is responsible for is unavailable. And i can't actually contact Jim. Tried a few times to 'ping' him in IRC, but still no success.

I was traveling for the Scale12x conference for the last few days. I'm going to be moving to take ownership of this channel via the freenode staffers today.
