Hi All,
Does anyone know what will happen with the GlusterFS packages after
Stream 8 EOL ?
I'm wondering if the build system will keep building them for RHEL 8 or
they won't be built anymore ?
We haven't finalized what CentOS Stream 8 EOL looks like yet. It's something we hope to determine in the near future so that we can give the community advanced notice on what to expect.
RHEL 8 will continue to provide the GlusterFS packages either way.
RHEL8 will provide the downstream packages, which are based on glusterfs-6. And even those aren't going to receive much in the way of updates going forward.
I suspect Strahil is using glusterfs-9 or glusterfs-10 (from the Storage SIG.)
