No, you dont want to redo a port every 6 months for the embedded markets. The whole point is fire-and-forget capability for those sort of roles.
Enterprise distros are better suited to corporate type use.
Which is mostly the same as what people in the embedded markets use.
You can't be all things to all people, or you will just alienate them all.
