We have verified this the behavior on RHEL 5 as well as CentOS 5 ... but can we have a couple more RHEL 5 testers verify the issue please.
I can confirm the issue with RHEL-5. Does not happen all the time and I had to try a number of runs before I saw the problem. It leaves the process in status SLl (sleeping, locked mem pages...).
