Yes it makes a difference. Anaconda in CentOS/EL 7 is very different from 6, and there is basically nothing relevant to CentOS 6 in that document.

Good to know, thanks. Is there any documentation still around from the older version? I can see some installclasses code in the anaconda package, was there any custom support at that point? Or is my best bet just patching rhel.py and rebuilding the rpm?
