There was a security update to clamav on 4/23/2013. RPM'S for this widely used antivirus used to be maintained in rpmforge, but they have no current updates in their repo for centos-5. Could this be added to either centos extras or centos contrib and maintained by someone on the centos team ? The rpm rebuild is pretty simple and takes a short amount of time and resource
