Hi guys,
I noticed that golang-github-gorilla-mux 0-0.15.git136d54f.el7_0 is in the ‘updates' and in the ‘extras' repo. Older versions where only in ‘extras’. Is that a conscious change of policy, or did something go wrong with the routing of that version?
Cheers,
Matthias - just curious

This change was done to mirror the upstream repo structure. We're unsure why it was done upstream, but for us it was an intentional change to stay consistent.

OK, thanks for the info. Since I should have check upstream repos as well…
Cheers,
Matthias

To be more clear .. initially in RHEL 7.0, golang-github-gorilla-mux was only in RHEL extras as a build requirement for docker, also in only in RHEL extras.
The latest release of golang-github-gorilla-mux was released instead into "Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server (v. 7)".

I have no idea why it was released into there, but we did it based on their release.
When this happens, we will roll these type of packages into updates .. but we will also keep them in extras.
