Out of curiosity, are the vmware tools and kmods still needed with centos 6.4? What parts do you install onto this vms?

Centos 6 hasn't required any extra drivers to work on pv vmware for a while, afaik.

Ah ok, I misread the 6.4 release notes, that there are first time included pv drivers. In fact they have just been updated.
