Hi All,
For our 16-Mar meeting, I thought we could do our format a little differently. We will post a link to the Google Hangout to this thread once the details are finished.
One thing I'd like us to talk through is the contribution process from New User to Released Components.
SIGs: we would like for this discussion to be driven by your real-life processes so please bring questions, comments, suggestions
Hope to see you all there!
Brian

Fabian has kindly offered to setup and run the meeting, he will be in touch over the course of the next few hours with urls. Please test your google hangout connectivity and practise going on mute/unmute before the call :)

Hi,
I won't be able to join, but I know the content will be useful to many in the NFV SIG - will there be a recording available afterwards?
Thanks, Dave.

Hi Dave,
Well, we'll record the session and depending on the content (if it's really useful), we'll probably post the links.
Cheers,

I'd recommend open-by-default ... we can rarely predict all the ways that something is useful for others, which is why the methodology is to conduct meetings openly with accessible tools.[1]

[1] BTW, this is why video is generally *not* a good idea for regular meetings, as it's less accessible for community members (bandwidth, video tool requirements, difficult to understand spoken language compared to reading, lack of transcripts, difficult to find content via search, etc. etc.)

BTW, I meant to add that video is very useful, similar to meeting together in person -- you can get understanding amongst a small group, share information in a high bandwidth way, etc. It comes with a higher requirement to do the work of getting information back to people. KB just showed us that with his mindmap that came out of the video today. It's all about the balance.
