I have actually tried to apply that patch to our current curl (for a test RMP), but the code is too different for it to apply and I am not smart enough to figure out how to back port it.
If Red Hat rolls it in and releases it (or creates a test patch and posts it to that bug), we will build it.
Thanks, Johnny Hughes
When bug 799557 can be ported to CentOS 6 ( https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=799557) ? Redhat already patched in curl-7.19.7-39.el6.
That may be another solution for my problem here.

Hello, Johnny
The following bug already modified by red-hat, is there any plan to sync it with CentOS 6?
Thanks!

The latest version of curl for CentOS 6 is curl-7.19.7-40.el6_6.3.x86_64 so that should already be patched and available. Run `yum update` to get it.
CentOS-devel is not the right mailing list for topics like this, you should be using the main centos list for support issues.
