Hello,
not sure if it's the right place to post.
I have a VMWare Workstation 15.1 VM based on Centos 7.6 (Kenel 3.10.0-957) with the CentOS-QEMU-EV repository enabled.
Version of qemu is: 10:2.12.0-18.el7_6.5.1
I'm having an issue with qemu-kvm-ev, basically it looks like I'm not able to create any VM. I'm getting a "NMI watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 22s! [kworker/0:0H:5]" and the installation will not proceed.
Everything works fine if I use the standard qemu-kvm

nested virtualization with qemu-kvm-ev on top of vmware is not supported. you can run nested virtualization on top of kvm.
