I'd like to put my hand up to be part of the VoIP SIG.
After mentioning this in IRC, I've also had two other people contact me privately (puzzled and JHogarth) with their interest too.
Currently we (FreePBX) build 'FreePBX Distro', which is a up-to-date CentOS distro, with a couple of known-broken packages upgraded (drbd, pacemaker) or replaced (asterisk).

sounds good.
the senawave people ( who have donated DID's for the CentOS voip box ) are also keen to join, I've been talking to Chris there and he's willing to bring in domain knowledge from a specialist high density voip isp ( although they are a small shop, they do a fair bit of voip traffic ).
Also trying to reach out to vitality to see if they would be interested in coming joining up here.
In the mean time, would you like to pickup a slot from the officehours ( wiki.centos.org/OfficeHours ) and we can try to scope up the SIG / Variant work needed ?
Regards,

Office Hours is tricky given current office project work ... if one of the others can join though I can pick up tasks to work on in the evening or weekend...

That would be doable - or with a few days notice if we could make it at lunch (sometime between noon and 2pm) I'd likely be able to jump on.

Given a couple days notice I could make it as well.

lets shoot for the week after fosdem, who wants to do one of those what-time-works-best-for-everyone thing ?
I'm in Australia - UTC-10.. So normally pretty much every time is wrong for me. However, I'll be there whenever it's convenient for everyone else.

Apart from the -/+ typo, I'm correct -- I'm in Queensland, and we don't do Daylight saving up here. We're too close to the equator to bother with that madness 8)
Derek sent this just to me by accident:
I'd like to propose we do our office hours in the
Thu 6th Feb 2014 16:00 UTC Slot.
Anyone care to second that?
I'm not sure I can personally make that but I'll have a chat to my line manager and see if I can spare the time.

I may still be on route back from the Infrastructure.Next event but will try to make it.

There hasn't been any other response to this to my knowledge ... I definitely know I can't make it now (turns out we have an all company update today at that time) - are people still attending or do we pick a different datetime?

Hi James,
Given the lack of responses it's probably a good idea to reschedule.
If you still want to chat feel free to start a Hangout and ping me or however it works as I've never used Hangouts before.

Thanks. I'm in UTC+1/CET. Will tag along also.

In the week after FOSDEM there's cfgmgmtcamp and Infrastructure.Next on mon, tue and wed so that's going to be a short week.
