hi guys,
we seem to block all web gateways to the irc channel - is the aim to just block the freenode hosted one ? if so, can the ban be made mode specific to just that interface ?

I recently started using IRCCloud as my day-to-day client - user specific bans are possible for this web gateway. It would be great if it was at least whitelisted.

The blanket ban on web gateways has been in place to deal with some problems we had with common trolls.
I've removed the blanket ban, and replaced it with a ban specific to the freenode gateway. I'd ask the ops to keep a closer eye on things if possible to see if this is an acceptable compromise.

It's already done.
