Hi folks,
The TL;DR for this email: I intend to step away from the CentOS Board at the end of my term.
I've deeply appreciated the opportunity to guide and contribute to the project since 2004, but it's time to give newer contributors their chance to lead.
While I'm excited about CentOS Stream as the new Evolution in our community work, my obligations elsewhere require more and more of my attention. Since our policies ask for notice, I'm doing so a bit early so we have appropriate time to find candidates and they can clearly state their opinions and positions on matters for the project.
I'd say "thanks for the memories and friendships over the years" but I'm not going far and I'm sure I'll continue to pester various folks when it's warranted.
Hi Jim,
Thank you for your work!
Regards. DH

On behalf of the board, and the community at large, thanks for your many years of devoted service to the project. Your pragmatism, sense of humor, deep technical knowledge, are always very appreciated in discussions both on and off list. You'll be missed.
