This was announced at Devconf.us in Boston; I hadn't been reading these notes before so I missed this.
It seems like there's quite a lot of potential followup here; notably https://wiki.centos.org/SpecialInterestGroup/Cloud doesn't mention this.

This is also mentioned as part of the SiG's upcoming update, but this ihas all happened in the last 2 weeks. We'll get the wiki updated with more solid information.
