It is possible to add the atalk support yourself, but it needs some work. You do not have to build the whole kernel. You can build just the appletalk module. Let me know if you need help on this. By the way which kernel version are you using (i686 or x86_64)? I already have the module for the centosplus x86_64 kernel.

Good news. According to Johnny Hughes, he is planning to turn the ATALK support on in the next release of centosplus kernels.

Good news. According to Johnny Hughes, he is planning to turn the ATALK support on in the next release of centosplus kernels.
Of course Johnny keeps his promise and we will soon have a shining new 2.6.18-8.1.8.el5.centos.plus kernel with appletalk.ko very soon (i heard it is being built now).
