Hi !
is there an equivalent in CentOS to qemu-kvm-rhev ? Snapshot creation on RDO OpenStack seems only possible with this package.
Regards Paul

Not currently in CentOS, no.
I think that is going to be addressed in the Cloud SIG in the future.
Thanks, Johnny Hughes

the ovirt guys build one on their own site at this time. maybe grab that and test + provide feedback ?
I found this one for CentOS 6 http://lists.ovirt.org/pipermail/users/2014-March/022606.html
I could not find the same for CentOS 7
We managed to compile the package (and test successfully snapshot creation), my question was more about using using packages from distro vs make our own...
Thanks Paul

You can also enable ovirt repo for current stable version 3.5 and you will get it. See http://www.ovirt.org/Download And https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1127763
Or you can manually grab it and eventual dependencies at http://resources.ovirt.org/pub/ovirt-3.5/rpm/el6/x86_64/
