We are going to try and get 6.1 done in the next few days ( I hope to have the final isos ready on Monday or Tuesday next week ). And get the updates out via that route. If for some reason those isos are not ready on Monday and looking like they wont make it for Tuesday either, we can populate the 6.0/cr repo on Monday night itself.

That is great news Karanbir. Thank you & team for all your hard work!

Hype will be much lesser. Most of the installed systems will be just upgraded via repositories. I do not expect that mirrors will be overloaded.

I was informed that delivering of the ISO's is to the QA team, not to the repositories. So at least a week will pass until release to the internal mirrors first.

Julio,
a lot of activities are running in parallel now. - e. g.
- restructuring information sources e.g.: Wiki and http://qaweb.dev.centos.org/qa/
- centos releases 5.7 and 6.1
- new infrastructure for debuginfo and vault rpms
- continuous release 6 repo
- ...
so - please be patient.
Just in case: http://bugs.centos.org/view_all_bug_page.php http://wiki.centos.org/Contribute

No worries, it was just a simple question. I am one of the guys who hate putting any pressure on CentOS team who do a great job, especially KS. Julio
He uses KB, not KS ;-)
