hi,
following up on an thread started in july [1], we're now using the ceph/jewel test repo in TripleO as well; more specifically we download [2] and enable the -test repo
presently submissions for TripleO are gated deploying an OpenStack with Ceph backing a few services, though we do not deploy the Ceph MDS component, only MON/OSD/RGW
is there any interest in promoting the Ceph -test repo to mirror.centos.org and wrap up a centos-release-ceph-jewel RPM?

We're also installing and configuring Ceph Jewel without the release package in puppet-openstack-integration tests.
It has worked well for us so far but in limited CI context. Admittedly, we're not using the new blue store backend, though.

Glad it works for you :)

It's OK, it's still experimental. I'll play with it and report here.

There is :) The release RPM has been built: https://cbs.centos.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=3805 I'll push to mirror.centos.org before the end of the week.

The builds are now all properly (I hope) tagged and I've opened a bug at cbs.centos.org so that the mirrors get populated.

I have signed and pushed the centos-release-ceph-jewel rpm to the master mirror server. We should be set once the actual ceph rpms show up on the mirrors now.
