On behalf of the CentOS Board of Directors, and the whole CentOS community, I want to thank KB for his years of service as project leader and chair of the board. KB has shaped the project for almost 2 decades, and has made the world a better place by his work over the years.
KB, it's been a privilege to work with you for the past few years. Thank you for your trust and respect as I've become part of that story. I wish you much joy in your future endeavors, and will always appreciate the chance to work alongside you on this great project.
Please join me in thanking KB, and in telling your KB stories.

KB:
Thanks for your years of work on CentOS. I know we haven't met in person, but I see your hand in everything that goes on here!
Best wishes for whatever you'll be doing in the future!

Thank you very much for the kind words - I feel it was more of a community comming together to solve wider problems, and we just had a chance to keep things together. Wasent always easy, and we hit the odd bump along the way, but in retrospect its great to see that the efforts were all worth it.
Leaving the project in some very capable hands, and looking forward to many more milestones!
Regards,

I have been fortunate to work with KB over the past 5 years on multiple projects and troubleshooting incidents. It has been a pleasure.
I won't forget the kindness along with the skills you brought to every one of those experiences. Thanks for never avoiding me, even though I was always asking you for something. :) KB, thanks for making images available for AWS customers for so long and I'll keep working with everyone, especially Brian and Fabian, with a tip of the hat to all the skill and the high quality bar you set.

Karanbir,
Thank you for everything you have done for the community and the world at large. The reality is that this planet would be a very different place if it were not for the work that you have done over these past two decades.
Much success in whatever adventure you chose to take next.
Jack

Hello,
Certainly CentOS is unique and KB is a large part of its success. It has not always been easy but the outcome speaks for itself. At the end, thanks to KB and many others, like Jim, the project made RHEL development open. A remarkable achievement backed by a lot of work.
KB, also thanks for the great discussions and hope to see you around in your next trip to Brussels.

I know I am a little late with this email .. but I have to thank KB for everything he has done for not only the CentOS Project, but for me personally.
KB has been one of my dearest friends since about 2003 and to be honest, I can't imagine what my life would have been like if I hadn't met him and if we had not done all the things we did over the years with CentOS.
I love you man. I always will.
