Very very nice. I wonder how much work it would be to make similar packages for 4.8 (or at least the backgrounds :))

I like it much better than the 5.3 artwork. But I don't think it is a good idea to use the same artwork for 4.8 and 5.3.

Hmm, I actually like the 5.3 artwork, which I hadn't really seen until recently (the machines running it are in a lab, which had been updated, but which I hadn't visited until I had some stuff to do there).
I agree that the artwork probably shouldn't be the same for two different major releases of the distro; although I have made my own login screen in the past, and might again, it's kind of nice to be able to know what version a machine is running based on the appearance of the login screen.

B.t.w, Is there any application available to handle these images rotation ? or we need to build one ? Whatever it be, should it implement the release logic of CentOS project, isn't it ?

*Very* nice Alain :-)
I'd be very happy to keep that on my workstation.
Very cool yes :) - kind like vmware squares ;) But, is personally do not like this long text under CentOS (it was fine now, just plain CentOS 5).

Nice. A good job, well-done.
I see that Tru has already picked up on the most obvious error. :-)
(I may even reconsider my choice to exclude the artwork package updates on my workstation. Currently I have retained the 5.2 packages as the 5.3 "bindweed tendrils" do not agree with me.)

Looks nice!
About Live CD label and cover, and install DVD cover: should they have a clearly visible version minor number too, "5.4" instead of only the major number "5"?
How about install DVD labels, similar to the Live CD label? Preferably in a way they were easy enough to identify at the first sight whether it contains i386 or x64 binaries.
Regards, Timo
Very very nice, congratulations!
My only suggestion: I think the fonts of Release Counter (need to change s/5.3/5.4/g too) and Media (including the CD/DVD charts) are so thin, maybe it would be better using bold! :-)
By the way, perfect job!

Hi,
Really great work Alain, I was quite a fan of the Treeflower Ideas too.
I guess now would be a good time to introduce myself to the list. Hi List! I am Igshaan, a young Linux enthusiast from Cape Town, South Africa. I joined this list in hopes to sometime soon contribute some packages to CentOS as per guidelines given here http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Packages/ContributeYourRPMs. However it seems someone has beat me to it with gtk2-engines-aurora package,However gtk2-engines-candido has still not been packaged anywhere so I'll post soon regarding that ;-)
Again, Great work Alain! Keep it up!

Sure, These things will be taken into account in the next rendering if no one is against them.

Looks nice, but the Install DVD spine is upside down compared to all other DVDs. ;o)
