Hello,
I'm interrested in having Centos 5 on s390, but I noticed it's not yet available.
I'm wondering if I can recompile the sources myself by one of these procedure: 1. Cross Compiling for s390 architecture 2. Installing a Centos 4 inside Hercules emulator, and recompiling sources in this emulated Centos.
Also, is there an automated procedure if I want to compile SRPMS?

there are 2 efforts on to bring this together. if you look through a bit of the history on this list you should be able to get details. there are complete tree's for s390/c5.0 and c5.1, I'm working to make them installable and make the tree's public soon.
What are you using? o a native s390(x) machine? o a cross compiler? o an emulated environment?
