I am beginning to look at NFV Sig again and I have a question about the following.
Can Centos NFV SIG create a Repo to be visible in mirrors.centos.org that contains DPDK and other packages as well as VPP once that is built in CBS.
If so, what is the process for instancing a repo in mirrors.centos.org like the cloud SIG has?
Also, do the following packages appear in any of the Repos. Did I miss something?
http://cbs.centos.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=737http://cbs.centos.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=737

I'll
let Brian drop in the details, but essentially the process works sometihng like this : you join a sig ( or create one ), you request tag's to be created in cbs.centos.org - you can then build to those tags, once you have content you can request buildlogs repos for testing, once happy with that, we would work with you to setup a tag cadence that allows you to push to mirror.centos.org content you are happy to 'release'.

This is done. I have joined NFV SIG.

This is done. I have received tags for VPP 1609 and have requested tags for 1701 and 1704.

tags, once you have content you can request buildlogs repos for testing, once happy with that,
How do I make this request. Do I submit another bugz?

When you have RPMs tagged into your -testing tags, please open a bug requesting that they be synced to buildlogs. (Same for when you're ready to release to the mirrors).

OK, sounds good. I submitted bugzilla for new tags for latest versions of dpdk and vpp. Do I need new tag for each upstream version? The bugz are https://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=12835 and https://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=12838

Brian:
I am having trouble understanding how to use new tags created with https://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=12838
I can build the package using scratch option: cbs build --scratch nfv7-dpdk-1611-el7 dpdk-16.11-5.el7.src.rpm
I can add the package to a testing tag (I am not sure I am doing this right:) cbs add-pkg --owner "tfherbert" nfv7-dpdk-1611-testing dpdk-16.11-5.el7.src.rpm I also tried: cbs add-pkg --owner "tfherbert" nfv7-dpdk-1611-testing dpdk Neither command returns an error
But I can't build without the --scratch option,
cbs build nfv7-dpdk-1611-el7 dpdk-16.11-5.el7.src.rpm ... package dpdk not in list for tag nfv7-dpdk-1611-candidate
What am I doing wrong?

The default target is -candidate so you need to whitelist the pkg here too.

Thomas, Thanks for your help.
This works and the build works for x86_64. It is also trying to build for ppc. How do I fix this should I specify arch on cbs build or specify arch in tags?
ExclusiveArch is specified in the spec file.
