Hello,
My name is Rigved and I am a System Administrator at Directi, Mumbai, India.
For the past few months, there have been a few GNU/Linux User Group
meetups at the Directi Mumbai office, one event per month. The next
meetup will be held on 23rd (Sunday) at Directiplex, Andheri (E),
Mumbai. I would like to invite the CentOS User Group in Mumbai to
participate in this event. There is no entry fee.
The GNU/Linux meetup will start at 10 am.
If anyone wants to take any sessions related to CentOS, they are more
than welcome to do so.
Other sessions planned for the same day:

Hope to see some of you at the event!
Best Regards,
Rigved

This thread is about having a CentOS Dojo at MySQL Conf on Monday 31
March.
At KB's suggestion, we reached out to the folks at Percona, who are
willing to sponsor a CentOS Dojo on the Monday before this year's
MySQL Conference in Santa Clara, CA. Since this is near me, I
volunteered to help organize and run the event.
What we need still:
* Speakers to present user stories, tutorials, how-tos, and other
technical content related to CentOS Linux in some way; bonus if it's
database and/or MySQL-and-derivatives focused.
* Co-organizers.
* Event staff.
* Publicity, publicity, publicity.
What we have so far:
* One room that seats 75 persons in a classroom formation.
* Lunch accommodations (details to work out.)
* Video kit for recording and streaming.
There will also be some booth presence at MySQL Conference, which I'll
bring under another thread. For booth staff we can get free attendance
to the conference, there is going to be a promo code for a discount for
other people.
What's next?
What's our best solution for registering people?
What details do we need to still capture at this stage?

Dear all,
if you are using OpenNebula and CentOS and you'd like to share your
experiences in a presentation using both tools, you might be interested in
attending the OpenNebula Cloud Technology Day that will take place in Ede,
Netherlands, the 26th of March.
http://opennebula.org/community/techdays/ede2014/
As you may already know, CentOS is very important to the OpenNebula
project, and many users have previously shared exciting success stories
using both CentOS and OpenNebula. If you're interested in sharing your use
case it would be great to see you there.
Regards,
Jaime
