CS9 Launch - THANK YOU

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the CentOS Stream 9 launch messaging happen. ESPECIALLY those who helped craft the blog post. We are live with the messaging, as of Friday morning. (Not ideal timing, but we will be re-amplifying today.) SJVN did a nice article on it - https://www.zdnet.com/article/red-hats-centos-stream-9-linux-arrives/ - and used a lot of the phrases from the article, which I was very pleased with. And the website looks *amazing*. A HUGE thank you to Alain and Fabian for that. Just ... wow. I will be sending out the December newsletter tomorrow, promoting this further. That's being drafted at https://hackmd.io/tva9SEQvRlWkzPmuJ-XBSw?edit today, if you want to help. The conversation on r/CentOS and r/Linux was *mostly* positive. There were, of course, some trolls that emerged from their caves, but for the most part it was people who understood the message, and were largely positive about it. So that was nice, too. CentOS Stream 9 "launch" promotion

We are now at the point in the CentOS Stream 9 process that we need to do some kind of a "launch" promotional effort, so that people are aware of the work that is being done here beyond the "Coming Soon" message on the download page. If you are willing to participate in this effort, we will be coordinating on the centos-promo mailing list - https://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos-promo - so if you're not subscribed, this is a good time to do so. We will be initially producing two things: * A blog post for blog.centos.org (and possibly one for a redhat.com property as well) * Web content that will go at centos.org/stream9 Initial notes about what we're creating are here: https://hackmd.io/RkOiWNmIQcWSubQ3emY0lg We would like to produce this content within the next month - end of November latest. Launching this content would be coordinated with launching the new visual/design work for our various websites. So ... y'all come help!
