Hi, all,
I have started the work on the leaflet describing CentOS Stream, so that
we can distribute it at the next CentOS Connect and FOSDEM.
The leaflet is loosely based on the talk I gave at FOSDEM 2022.
What I think I need to make things work:
1) I'd like to get a repo in CentOS infra where I can publish sources of
the leaflet (it is LaTeX, btw)
I filed a ticket for this but maybe it is a wrong place:
* https://git.centos.org/centos/Artwork/issue/23
Once I upload the sources,
2) I need folks to review and contribute to them, especially in the
section which mentions SIGs.
3) I need to understand if the pdf format is good enough for printing
the leaflet or there something else we should do to prepare the data?
4) I need someone to print it and bring to Brussels
I may be can use our Düsseldorf office to do it myself, but there might
be better ways.
So, who can help me with these steps? At least the first one?

Hey Shaun, could you please include an announcement for the Hyperscale
SIG meetup in the next CentOS newsletter? Here's the blurb, feel free to
edit as you see fit:
The CentOS Hyperscale SIG will be holding an in-person meetup on on
February 2nd, 2023 at DoubleTree Brussels City Center Hotel. This is the
same venue hosting CentOS Connect on February 3rd, and only a short walk
from where FOSDEM will be held over the weekend. The meetup is open to
everybody interested -- you don't have to be a member of the SIG to
attend, and we'd welcome participation from anyone interested in this
space.
The event will be held from 9am to 5pm in the Birth room at the
DoubleTree hotel. While this is an in-person event, we will do our
best to setup a conference bridge so that remote participants can attend
and interact as well.
Please register at
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/centos-hyperscale-sig-meetup-connectfosdem-202…
to help with the event planning.
I'll post this to -devel shortly as well. Thanks!
Cheers
Davide
Hi folks,
We could use some volunteers for staffing CentOS Connect at FOSDEM next
month. If you're interested, we have a staffing grid up on the planning
page here:

Thanks,
Shaun
