[DRAFT] Code of Conduct for CentOS Dojos

Hi all, As we're ramping up planning for CentOS Dojos in 2014, it would be a Good Idea to have a code of conduct/Anti-Harassment/Discrimination Policy in place. I've taken the liberty of drafting a short one based on the Linux Foundation's [1] policy. I trust that this is non-controversial, but I'm including the language below in case we need to make any tweaks. We also need to decide who will be the point of contact for any concerns (aside from the local event staff). (To be clear, nothing I've heard about previous Dojos gives me any cause to believe that we'll need to deal with infractions, but better to be clear about our expectations and have the policy in place.) Thoughts, comments, flames? CentOS Dojo Code of Conduct CentOS Dojos are working conferences intended for professional networking and collaboration in the CentOS community. Attendees are expected to behave according to professional standards and in accordance with standard policies on appropriate workplace behavior. While participating in a Dojo, or related social networking opportunities, attendees should not engage in discriminatory or offensive speech or actions regarding gender, sexuality, race, or religion. Speakers should be especially aware of these concerns. We does not condone any statements by speakers contrary to these standards. We reserve the right to deny entrance and/or eject from an event (without refund) any individual found to be engaging in discriminatory or offensive speech or actions. Promo Box/T-shirts

Just to let you know that I now have two boxes (with CentOS t-shirts/stickers/flyers) at home. The problem is that I don't have an attic and keeping the t-shirts in the basement can be "problematic" in a sense that my basement is really wet (sometimes I even have water in my basement, when it's raining too long). I'm afraid than keeping those boxes there would lead to "molded" t-shirts if they have to stay there. Any proposal ? I remember we spoke last week about a "strong" box that could be used as a "promo box" and containing all useful items needed for such events (like the WiFi AP). Is that something we can do ? (and also see where to ship it ) AFAIK, there is still quite some money in the promo box, so using a small part of those funds to buy such bigger/stronger box and also covering shipping costs should be considered -- Fabian Arrotin gpg key: 56BEC54E | twitter: @arrfab

Transport Köln to Bruxelles

Hi, I just joined the Promo List. I would like to help at the Fosdem. A lot of you already know me from the Fedora booth, but I would like to help at the Centos booth this year for a change. I read in the Archive that you need to transport stuff from Köln to Brussels? I'm driving at Thurdsday evening from Frankfurt to Brüssel by car and will bypass Köln anyway and can bring it to the Dojo on Friday, or Deliver it on Thurdsday very late.
