CentOS Rollup for events ...

Hey promo team ! One thing i always see during events is the use of rollups. What about acquiring one CentOS rollup (generic one, without any release/date inside) that can be used from events to events and be the promo box companion ? Hi Guys, I'm trying to get a wish list together for the promo team. Here is what I have so far : - DVD's ( blank! ) - T-Shirts ( a couple of different colours ) - Caps - Coffee Mugs (?) - Beer Mugs - Linux and CentOS related books - messenger / backpack bag's Ideally, we could get a few of each into a 'event bag' and send it over wherever an event is taking place. To this list I'm going to add: - 50" TV - Couple of laptops - Projector What else might go onto this list ? Regards, - KB

Flyers!

# Crossposted to centos-promo and centos-docs - I'm not sure which # mailing list this really belongs on. Even centos-devel maybe? Hey people, a) We actually nearly ran out of our old flyers b) We need new flyers once CentOS 6 is out So does anyone have any idea about what needs to be on the new flyers and how they should look? I think going a bit with the 6 artwork would be great. Is anyone up to the task? I sure do know that we won't print as many flyers as last time, those lasted us through 4 and 5 :) Cheers, Ralph

If you want to decline this offer, please tell us as soon as possible. We provide only one power plug per stand, but you can hook up several multi-socket power chords. Because we can not provide those for every stand, we must ask you to bring your own multi-socket power chords. To make the stands look more professional, we would also like to ask you to bring a table cloth that covers the table and the front of it. The front side is a very good place to put your logo and name in large on, this will increase your visibility. We will stick A4 sheets with your project name on the tables, so you'll know where to install stuff. The best time to build up your stands in the H building is around 09:00. From 09:30-10:00 the people start to rush in, heading for the opening talks. In the AW building, things are typically more quiet until the opening talks are finished, which is around 12:00. FOSDEM talks (distribution miniconf)

Hey, FOSDEM is doing the same thing they did last year: All distributions are welcome to partake in a distribution miniconference within FOSDEM. If anyone of you wants to join us at FOSDEM and has/wants to have a talk which will not only further CentOS, but is also interesting for users of other distributions, please say so. I'd forward those talks to the FOSDEM 2011 list then. Any takers? Ralph
