Also, it might be a good idea to somehow get a calendar in place, that lists events coming up so we could try and find people in the right places.

I think a calender would be a great idea. TxLF is right around the corner now, which makes it hard to get anything together. I was surprised though, that CentOS does not have a booth etc, since it is a pretty large venue.
