Hi Folks,
I've just forwarded to the centos promo list the mail i've received from the Fosdem organization team regarding our booth and the devroom. I'll update the wiki as well to reflect those informations.
But what i need to know urgently : the titles of your presentations (if you plan to present something of course) and a brief description (see the details on the wiki). Don't forget that deadline to send all those informations is Monday 2009-01-12 so the sooner i receive informations the better ;-)
Also, apart from the presentations, do we need to plan something else during the Fosdem event itself ? Do we want to book an extra day for an "internal" centos meeting (like last year) or during the Fosdem event ? What about at least eating something all together (like last year too) ? All ideas are welcome :D

I think I mentioned this before, after 2 FOSDEM episodes I prefer to have one dedicated CentOS devroom/day over one intermixed with Fedora. The initial idea was to allow people to see some of the presentations on both days, but the downside is that we are interrupted every hour during both days, while otherwise we would have one busy day and one day for internal meetings and chit-chat.
Not sure if we want this and the Fedora people are still interested in this (they were in the past though). Of course, a Sunday would be better so that we can advertise our presentations to the visitors on Saturday. Although a Sunday may be slower, I really don't know ? (Fact is that Saturday-morning is right after the beer-event ;-))
We need to make arrangements for the booth, a friday get-together would be nice (the beer-event will be as crowded as ever and therefor not really pleasant IMO), on saturday evening it would be nice to have (once again) dinner too and on sunday we could plan a goodbye dinner/snack like last year.
I don't know if an additional day makes sense if Karanbir will not be there. My proposal would be to have a (prolonged?) CentOS weekend somewhere else in Europe dedicated to fostering the CentOS project and doing internal meetings.
(Of course we may still want to pre-burn CentOS DVDs and label them !)
One thing I would change this year is to have printouts of the CentOS/Fedora devroom that we can stick on some places and give away to people at the booth.
