Hi,
who has the promo box at the moment and is it needed anywhere before the beginning of October and is there still anything in it? :)
We'd need at least some of the stuff for the cpanel conference.
Cheers,
Ralph

I am not on the promo team but...
Recommend a promo box tracking system. RFID in, RFID out then a GPS tracker during movement. URL points to Google Maps and directs to the current location.

Would someone (or many) be prepared to sponsor this?
Cheers Didi

we might only need a single gsm mobile able to send an sms with the relevant tower id's, i think we can live with 'upto 500m' accuracy :)

What about a Wikipage "Promobox" where we simply put the current "owner" of the promobox and its location? Let's also make updating that info the duty for anyone who hands out the box to someone else. Too simple? Yes, it is :)
Btw... because of the wiki's versioning we get an audit trail for free.

Bah, simple answers! Where do you want to go with that?
