A large hardware vendor has offered to pay for USB keys with CentOS pre-packaged on there, to be distributed against no-cost, either at meetings and events or against postage cost from promo.centos.org
However, they dont have the time and resources to get the work done to make this happen. And have asked us to look into that. How does one go about finding potential sources for 8gb USB Keys ?

I have placed a couple of order for different items ( phone cables, charger, a PC diagnose card ) at http://dealextreme.com . Except for the long delivery time ( 3 weeks ) and the so-so quality of the phone-related products, I have nothing to complain of. Transport from China via HK included, the prices were 50% of what I would have paid if purchasing in a shop over here. A friend of mine from Canada also purchased different items from them, without issues as well. A friend of mine bought video cameras from http://www.dhgate.com/ . Once again, no issues. All those are online shops. You register an account, select what you want to purchase, add to shopping cart, decide on shipping address,pay, wait. Optionally one can select expedite delivery which comes with the benefit of a tracking number . So basically all one can do is to chose a particular device, decide on the number of identical items, order. Short of providing an URL to the page of the device, I have no idea what else can be shown to a third party.

Just a quick update on this, Wolfy / Tru located an amazon.fr source that did usb keys for reasonable costs - I've forwarded that along to the potential donor. Will update here once we know whats happening and when its happening.
( I did contact the seller, via amazon's marketplace and they confirmed that if we order more than 10, he will he willing to pre-image the disks with an iso we can send over - and that they will delivery anywhere in Europe at no cost )
