Hey
Has someone started organising something for T-Dose this year? Does someone want to do this?

Any news for this? I'll be doing a talk there, so I'll be there. Do we have a booth there? I think we don't. Who's going to come? I know at least Dag will be there, as he's also doing a talk...
Regards, Andreas
I usually don't reply to myself. However:
Looks like we *do* have a confirmed booth at T-DOSE as we're listed as a Project. Looks like Tosh arranged that. At least he is listed as a Contact. However, I haven't seen any posts concerning this topic...
As T-DOSE is only 4 days away, I somehow feel we need to handle this quick.

That's rather bad. If absolutely needed, I can get the promo stuff over which I have at home at the moment.
There are still T-Shirts sitting in the US, as we didn't know that they could be needed sooner than Fosdem - those we cannot bring over in that short amount of time (and we had no luggage space for them, anyway).
I need to know *today* as I am going to be away over the weekend. And there's not that much to send over (stamps, fridge magnets, the banner).
Regards,
Ralph

We could probably live without the promo-stuff, but we cannot run a booth without staff. Currently it is just Sarah and me. The last mail from Tosh arrived back in February, thus I won't count him unless he proves me wrong.
That just won't doesn't work out.

for as far as I know, Tosh is going to T dose but I don't know what he is planning in terms of booth stuff.. also, I checked with him today for swag, and he doesn't have any.

I know. Most of the things which are in Europe are in my closet at the moment.

Three people for a booth is quite few, but for a small event like T-Dose it could work out. If we decide to run a booth there it would be handy to have the promo-stuff. If we don't run a booth it doesn't hurt either (if you don't take shipping into account). You could send the stuff to my company address if you want, but it has to arrive before Friday 12:00 as I'll be leaving around that time.
If the next event after T-Dose is FOSDEM (is it?) it doesn't really matter who carries the stuff around. I can keep it, give it to Tosh, or somehow route it to Fabian.

If I send Express it should be there by Thursday. Okay, I'll package stuff today :)
Have fun @T-Dose (some day I'll get there, too).

it would be cool to have some stuff during our Fedora 14 && EL release party stuff it's about bonding communities, and we'll have some Fedora AND Red Hat swag if you add some extra (if possible of course) to the T dose package, I'm sure Tosh will take care of it for me :)
cheers, Bert

Yeah, that is true, and I really do not like how that worked out. But I wouldn't have a problem with going to the post office tomorrow morning to send some things out, I just need to know today :)

Oh yes, and if you organize something like this, do not make it silently, but make some noise on this list at least (Tosh, I mean you). There's not even an entry on the Events page on the wiki.

I don't know if he's celebrating "Diwali" and so not reading his mails, but it seems that Tosh still plan to go to T-Dose, but "will not be able to stay very long" [ http://www.toshaan.be/?p=467 ]

We'll see... Sarah and me will have a look and if there's a booth for us, we'll set it up and try to run it.
