hi
I'm working towards hosting a 2 day CentOS Interlock like meetup in Paris on the 9th and 10th of Nov this year. Just wanted to get this thread setup for now as we work through the details and get announcements up in the coming days.
The aim and idea of the Interlock is to have a place for people to come together and talk to the folks behind the project, see what we are doing, participate in the plans moving forward and also from the user side be able to bring their user stories in and talk through their problem areas, potential growth concerns etc.
Its going to be very inclusive, very welcoming and very much participation driven.
Regards

Hello.
A quick update, you are all most welcome to attend!
Linuxing In London Invitation
This Tuesday, 26th July 2016, there are two exciting talks at Linuxing In London, http://www.meetup.com/Linuxing-In-London/events/231843859/
Firstly, Ian Partridge from IBM, on the Swift language and Linux.
Then, Alina Swietochowska will talk on CentOS 7 vs. CentOS 6, System Admin, tricks and traps, a brief intro.
CentOS is incredibly popular, particularly in the Cloud. Alina is a principal technologist at QA specialising in UNIX and Linux. She is very experienced in IT.
Starting at 18:15, Linuxing In London is hosted at Skills Matter every month. Just by Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations, two doors away from Maplin
Good luck,
Brian

Hi Folks,
I'd like to propose that we do a PGP keysigning party during one of those days to build out the CentOS web of trust. I'm happy to organize this and am hoping we can sneak this in on the afternoon/evening of the 9th. Does anyone have thoughts about that?
While we work out the scheduling and details this there are 2 things you need to do if you are attending the interlock and would like to participate:
- Feel free to go ahead and send me an email (brian@bstinson.com) with a copy of your public key `gpg --export --armor <your_key_id>` (or a link to your key on the web)
- Be on the lookout for a wiki page under https://wiki.centos.org/Events/Interlock2016 with instructions for how to prepare for the event and what to do afterward
I'll send an update here once we have a wiki page created.
Cheers!
