Marian at 1H hosting has offered to sponsor some stickers - the first lot came in yesterday ( 400 logo stickers ), and I'm expecting another 1000 'powered by CentOS' and 400 more 'Logo + CentOS' ones by the weekend or early next week.
So, whats the best thing that we can do ? One option is making 'packets' of 2 logo stickers, 2 logo + CetOS ones, 10 powered by ones and put those on the promo site against cost of shipping. OR we can just put them up individually ? or a mix ?
What would most people prefer to get ?
Logo stickers are 3cm by 3cm cut to the shape of the logo, powered by stickers are 1cm by 3cm logo + CentOS ones are 2cm by 5cm

The packet idea seems good, I think it will be quite a hassle shipping just one sticker at a time in a single envelope.

Also, if I was asking for stickers to show my support for a project - it would be nice to get more than 1. I suspect royal mail postage for 1 V/s a few wont be very different.
Maybe £1 postage, anywhere in the world might be nice. Let me see if I can swing that ( and we would need to add cost of envelop and paypal commission on top ).

I would go 2 ways with that:
- Offer a pack with selection of all stickers (2 or 3 pieces each) - Offer packs of 10 or 20 stickers of ONE kind
That way you can accomodate people that want to show their personal support (fans) and people wanting to give them out to others, maybe as part of a local presentation or LUG (promotions).

That sounds like a great idea. I've emailed the printing company to see if they can perhaps pre-cut into groups. Lets see what they come back with.

yup, that would be quite cool. I've always wanted to have like a promo-pack, with a couple of Tshirts, a lot of stickes and some flyers that we can post out to anyone doing a talk or a presentation about CentOS or manning a CentOS table at an event etc.
We dont really have the funds to organise that at this time though :/ Nor the resources to setup a co-ordination process to get people interested in promoting CentOS into events around the world.

dropped off another 46 tshirt packages a the postoffice this morning, and got postage prices. A sample pack like this with 4 or 6 stickers will cost us £1.10 in postage. Add cost of envelop and were at £1.50

this would be £2.00 for worldwide shipping each.
