Anybody willing to take over my presentation slot? I have not yet send a mail to the FrOSCon people, but will do so today, 31/07/2009 at 16:00 (GMT+1).

I don't know wether FrOSCon has Standby-Presentations (i.e. a ranked list of presentations that will be done if somebody cancels). How long is your presentation-slot? I cannot commit to anything right now, but I guess I could at lest do "some" presentation to fill the gap.

I can if you want. I am talking anyway so I can easily talk about (project)CentOS :)
Just send them a mail that I will be giving the talk. And then some slides with notes would be helpful. I have actually configured CentOS thin clients before so shouldn't be too difficult.

I'd guess topic and speaker are fixed. But we cannot really decide anything until FrOSCon says something about that...
I only know how we handled talks when a speaker cancelled: Look at the ranking and call the topmost guy that didn't get a slot :)

Would be a shame if CentOS wouldn't be present with a talk. Should try and just change the speaker. Don't see why that should be a problem. Maybe write a polite email asking to change the speaker and see what happens. I can ask Andreas if it is declined.

I personally do not see a chance to take over your talk about 'CentOS as a kiosk'. Changing the topic into something more general like 'CentOS Conspiracy - a deeper look at the project' would be fine.
