Hi Everyone,
FrOSCon starts at 8:15 on Saturday and 9:00 on Sunday. That's usually the time when visitors are allowed to come in. However, usually almost nobody shows up at that time.
It would be fine if everyone could be there around 8:30. Didi, Sarah and me will probably be there quite early.
Regards, Andreas

Only the USB sticks, or aren't we doing the Wii-mote stuff this year ?
I was planning to 'ship' through Fabian:
- 7x bluetooth usb dongles - 6x wiimotes - batteries and battery-loaders - flyers for the wiipresent project - 4x 4GB USB sticks
But 4 USB sticks and a LiveCD image is much more convenient ;-)

Ouch, what's that 'project' ? Of course I know 'Wiipresent' but what's the goal with so much Wiimotes and flyers ? We don't have *anything* to present and only have a booth. So was your idea to have some presentations on a screen at the booth and display them with the Wiimotes ? I admit that i use my Nokia E71 for that with my CentOS Laptop :-)

We hand out Wiimotes to presenters that would like to try Wiipresent. Like we did last year:
- WiiPresent at FrOSCon 2009 http://dag.wieers.com/blog/wiipresent-at-froscon-2009
- WiiPresent flyer for T-DOSE 2009 http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/wiipresent/WiiPresent-documentation-tdose200...

Yes, I had a seperate booth last year (next to CentOS) showing off WiiPresent on CentOS. It allowed us to demonstrate CentOS on that same machine as well as promote the tool (or provide assistance to interested people).
Hey

Like last year we'll have two normal tables and a bar-table. The bar-table can be dedicated to WiiPresent (or whatever) if desired.
However, I was wrong concerning our neighbours. We've been placed in the "Distro-Corner" while Fedora was placed elsewhere... The good part is that we're next to Gentoo and can just point to the left if somebody asks for bleeding edge stuff. :)
Have a look at http://people.solvention.de/~arogge/Standplan.pdf our Booth is Number 34 (near "Getränke 2", top right of the left square).
